Here’s what you can look forward to when you book a trip with us: First and foremost, I’ll ensure that you have a fun and successful trip. I’ll be with you from the time we launch until the last cast, and I’m passionate about the area and the best fishing spots.

Trophy Bass Catch and Release Tour

I’m a firm believer in catch and release and it’s hugely important to me to make sure that our fisheries are preserved for future generations. I’m always honest about my fishing reports and never lie about the fish weight – using a fish scale, I’m able to give you a precise measurement. Plus, I take photos so you can remember your trip forever!

We meet on the Orange Springs Boat Ramp, which is located at 14525 NE 245th Street Rd, Salt Springs, FL 32134 to begin your fishing adventure!

The Boat, Amenities, and Equipment

The green boat we use for your fishing trip is a 22+ foot fishing boat that has a cooler onboard. It can take up to 3 people on a memorable trip. I will provide the necessary fishing tackle, GPS & Fishfinder, life jackets, cooler, ice, and bottled water.

The wild river shiners I raise at my fish camp are the perfect bait to use when fishing. These fish are as close to their wild environment as possible, and they provide a much more exciting experience than the typical bait used by other anglers. One of the benefits of using this bait is that they live in the same water that you are fishing in, making them more tailor-made for the area. Additionally, using live bait ensures that your fishing trips are unique and memorable, as you’ll be able to catch fish you wouldn’t be able to catch with traditional bait. Though you pay an extra fee for the live bait, you’ll be sure to have an experience like no other. It’s the perfect bait for any angler looking for an unforgettable experience.

What Do You Need to Bring for Bass Fishing at Rodman’s Reservoir?

While we supply nearly everything you’ll want, there are a few things you’ll want and need to bring:

  • A valid Florida fishing license
  • Snacks or lunch for yourself
  • Comfortable hat
  • Sunglasses
  • Sunblock

We suggest you dress in layers, as it can be cold in the morning, but rise to a steamy sunbath later on. Another consideration is rain gear if the weather forecast suggests it.

Who Can Come Bass Fishing?

We love children, as long as they are supervised by an adult! We love to teach them to fish and carry all of the appropriate safety gear to ensure that our boats are a clean and safe environment for children of all ages.
